近年来，在中国人民银行的积极推动下，金融市场发展迅速，创新产品不断丰富。准确、真实、科学地评估这些创新产品的运行情况既有利于完善金融宏观调控体系，又有利于金融市场健康、持续、稳定发展。为此，中国人民银行上海总部课题组发布了《金融市场创新产品运行效应评估报告》，
