摘要
“胡同”一词来源于蒙古语,其实就是北京城中的街巷,元朝时蒙古人进入北京后开始按照自己的习惯来称呼这些街巷,“胡同”一词正式出现并沿用至现在。在朝代的更迭中,胡同与北京城共同走过了七百多年的风雨沧桑,形成了独具特色的“胡同文化”,在见证北京城历史变迁的同时,也随之发生了翻天覆地的变化,进而对北京城市的发展产生了不可估量的影响。
The word Hutong derives from the Mongolian Group, which means ＂lane＂ in the city. After Mongolians＇ invasion into Beijing in the Yuan Dynasty, they began to call the lanes Hutong customarily and it has been used ever since. The changes of dynasties have witnessed both the city and Hutong through thick and thin over the past 700 years and the formation of the unique Hutong cultures and the historic changes that have taken place in the city. At the same time, Hutong has undergone an earth-shaking change, which has an inestimable impact on Beijing＇s urban development.
