西夏环境史研究三题

Discussions on the Natural Environment History of Tangut from Three Aspects

本文主要讨论了与西夏自然环境相关的几个问题:一是西夏野生动物的种类及分布状况,认为西夏境内有牦牛、虎、鹿、骆驼等野生动物,家养骆驼的数量十分可观;二是西夏对自然环境破坏的方式和类型,主要有战争、樵采、修筑城寨等;三是西夏官方文献以及地方民众表现出的朴素的环境保护意识。

The paper mainly discussed throe problems related to the natural environment of Tangut： The first is about the variety and distribution of the wildlife. It is thought that there was such wildlife as yaks, tigers, deer, and camels and so on. The quantity and scope of domestic camels were great in Tangut. The second one saw the types and means of destroying natural environment. The last one gave a brief exposition about environment - protecting awareness of local people shown by official documents of Tangut.
