摘要
科技术语的翻译历来是令许多科技译者头痛而又不得不面对的问题。本文从一个新的视角基于操作层面来探讨英语专业术语的翻译问题,即译者在专业知识缺失而且又得不到其他技术支撑的情况下,如何最大限度地发挥主观能动性做出相对准确的翻译。
Technical terminology has always been the bottleneck for many science translators. This paper discusses the translation practice of such terminology from a new angle,namely,how the translator makes full use of his/her subjective initiative and make the relatively accurate translation in case he/she lacks the professional knowledge and gets no help from the professional personnel.
