This paper discusses some of Freud＇ s important thesis, pointing out two kinds of new illuminations on aesthetics given by the theory of Freud. These two illuminations are on the particular cognition which extends the visual field of aesthetics and the analysis on the deep-seated factors which hide under the aesthetic feeling.
