On Feminist Translation Subjectivity from the Perspective of the Cultural Study Schools

女性主义翻译关注语言中的性别问题,突出译者的性别政治立场,强调译者的文化态度和文化语境对文本阐释和翻译策略的影响,利用翻译作为文化干预的手段,使翻译文学参与译入语文化的建构,因而突显了译者对文本进行干预和操纵的主体性。女性主义翻译从一个侧面印证了文化学派关于翻译“就是改写,也就是操纵”,是文化交流的一种方式,是文化干预的一种手段的理论。

Feminist translation emphasizes the issues of gender in language and the translator＇s gendered political position as well as the influence of the translator＇s cultural attitude and cultural context on textual interpretation and translation strategy, uses translation as an instrument to intervene culture, enables translational literature to participate in the cultural construction of the target language, and thus foregrounds the translator＇s subjectivity in intervening and manipulating a text. Feminist translation from another side verifies the cultural school＇s theory that translation is rewriting and manipulation, a way of cultural communication and a means of cultural intervention.
