Application of WinTarget Technology Based on iSCSI in Diskless Teaching Network

无盘教学网因成本低、管理和维护方便被广泛用于各大专院校的教学。由于无盘教学网的特殊性,工作站的用户数据保存是一个令许多网络管理员难以解决的问题,本文以实例介绍利用WinTarget技术解决无盘工作站中无本地硬盘进行数据存储的难题,使得用户访问远端的存储设备就如同访问本地的硬盘一样简单方便。

Nowadays, diskless teaching network has been widely applied in a number of colleges and universities for the lower costs, convenience of administration and maintenance. However, the trouble that the users＇ data in the workstations are not easy to save has been disturbing most network administrators as the particularity of diskless teaching network. This issue explores the solution how to use the WinTarget technology for the diskless workstations to save the data without local hard disks with an actual instance, this way can let users access the remote storage devices as convenient as accessing the local hard disk.
