摘要
汉画中表现神话内容的画像是研究古代神话尤其是汉代神话的珍贵图像资料,缘于其能够被视觉所感知的艺术形象和画面构图的美术形式的特点,学术界亦将其称为“神画”。“神画”相比神话文字材料具有更加直观、真实、原始等特性。《汉墓神画研究》一书从艺术、宗教、神话、考古、民俗等方面对汉墓神画进行了多学科、多角度的综合研究,并从理论的层面上探讨了汉墓神画所蕴含的神话美学价值和神话艺术精神,显示出了作者所具有的严谨求真的学风和比较扎实的学术功底。然而,该书还存在一些问题,如:汉画中常见的“穿璧纹”装饰图案是由“龙璧”画像演变而来,是龙璧画像的图案化和抽象化的观点,就值得进一步商榷。
Mythological drawings of the Han dynasty are valuable resources for the study of ancient mythology,especially that of the Han period of China.Thanks to its vision attracting composition designs and artistic characteristics,mythological drawings have been treated as more direct, reliable,and original materials for research than the written texts.Study of the Mythological Drawings Discovered from the tombs of the Han Dynasty presents a synthetical study from the perspectives of arts, religion,mythology,archaeology,and folklore.It deeply examined the mythological aesthetics and artistic features of those drawings,which demonstrated the author's rigorous scholarship and solid skills of research.On the other hand,there are some questionable points in this book open for critical comments.
