摘要
水泵吸水池内的流动情况非常复杂,尤其在进水口附近存在很强的旋涡,并且会导致空化、振动现象的产生,从而降低泵站效率,因此研究水泵吸水池进口处流场分布状况具有很重要的意义。本文采用三维定常VOF两相流动模型,对进水口前的流态,尤其是空气吸入涡的流态进行数值模拟,并利用2D-PIV系统对进水口前流态进行测量从而对数值模拟进行验证。数值模拟结果和试验结果的对比表明,内部流场的模拟结果也与试验数据吻合较好,该模型能够很好的模拟吸水池的内部流动状况。
The flow in the pump suction sump is very complicated, especially in the intake, where there are many vortexes, which can cause cavitation, vibration and even the decrease of efficiency of pump station. In this paper, the flow condition near pump intake, especially the air sucked vortex is simulated by 3D VOF model, and 2D PIV experiment is carried out to validate the results of numerical simulation. The result comparison between the numerical simulation and PIV experiment shows that VOF model can well simulate the flow in the pump suction sump.
