无籽西瓜新品种豫园翠玉的选育

A New Seedless Watermelon F_1 Hybrid —'Yuyuancuiyu'

豫园翠玉是以四倍体SB-1为母本，RB-5为父本配制而成的中晚熟、高产、抗病、优质无籽西瓜新品种。全生育期105d（天），果实发育期35d（天）左右。植株生长势中等偏强，分枝力适中，第1雌花着生于主蔓第6—10节，以后每隔5—6节再现雌花，坐果率高。果实圆形，果形指数1．01，果皮浅绿色覆黑条带，皮厚1．4cm，果皮硬度大于25kg·cm^-2，耐贮运，单果质量4—5kg，最大果7kg以上。果肉大红色，肉质脆沙，纤维少，无籽性好，白秕籽少，不空心，中心可溶性固形物含量12．63％。对病毒病的抗性强于黑蜜2号，对炭疽病、枯萎病的抗性与黑蜜2号相当。每667m^2产量2000kg左右，适合河南、山东、四川、河北、山西等省无籽西瓜种植区域栽培。

Yuyuancuiyu is a new seedless watermelon F, hybrid developed by crossing SB - 1 with RB - 5. It is mid-late maturity and takes 105 days from sowing to harvest,the fruit developing period is about 35 days. The first female flower occures at leaf nodes No. 6 - 10. It has high fruit setting rate. The fruit is round and tolerant to storage and transportation. The peel is light green with black stripes, 1.4 cm in thickness and 25 kg · cm^ -2 in hardness, and average friut weight is 4 -5 kg. The flesh is red and crispy,the center soluble solid content is 12.63 %. It has stronger resistance to virus than Heimi No. 2 ,and similar resistance to anthracnose and Fusarium wilt with Heimi No. 2. The yield is about 30 t · hm^-2.
