略论我国远程教育的可持续发展之路

Develop OE in Radio &TV University and Sustain the DE Model in China

我国在开展现代远程教育试点过程中,形成了以普通高校网络学院为代表的现代远程学历教育模式和以中央广播电视大学为代表的电大开放教育模式。但是从现实和长远来看,国家应大力发展电大开放教育。通过从政策层面加大对电大的扶持力度,保障和巩固电大开放教育在构建我国终身教育体系中的核心地位;同时电大也应该继续发挥自己的优势,改进不足,走我国远程教育的可持续发展之路。

In the course of building and developing MDE （ modern distance education） experimental sites, China has formed two models： one is the diploma - issuing modern distance education represented by net colleges of universities and colleges; the other is the open education represented by Central Radio ＆TV University. Taking into account both real and future situations, government should develop the latter. The core position of the open education model by radio ＆TV universities in building nationwide lifelong educational system must be ensured and strengthened through support on policy - making level; furthermore, radio ＆TV universities should take the advantage of their own potentials and overcome their deficiency and, therefore, sustain the development of distance education in China.
