李梦阳和何景明的论争,明人大多认为是李欲压倒何而发动了论争,带有文人相轻的性质;对李何的论争观点,从文献反映的角度看,袒李派占了上风,比护何派和中立派都多。从中可见明代中晚期文学热衷复古而警惕师心的浓重风气。
