This paper presents a method designing linearly variable-gain amplifier using the MMIC devices.The amplifier with 30-40 dB gain,noise figure <2. 2 and VSWR<1.5:1 is based on the two MMIC devices and attenuation network in the 50-650 MHz range.It is helpful for people to design the same type of amplifier.
