Feng Yuxiang's Philanthropic Activities

从1931年起,冯玉祥开始以个人身份从事慈善活动。中国传统慈善思想、基督教博爱思想的有益成分和孙中山的民生主义是冯玉祥慈善活动的思想基础。冯玉祥慈善活动包括慈善救济、慈善教育和社会公益三大项。冯玉祥从事慈善活动的动机既有同情心、责任心的表达,又有改造国家、改造社会的愿望,已远远超出慈善活动本身的概念。

Feng Yuxiang started his personal philanthropic activities in 1931. His philanthropic activity is ideologically based on traditional Chinese philanthropic thought, positive ideas in Christian humanity and Sun Yat-sen＇s Principle of People＇s Livelihood, which covers charitable aid, charitable education and social benefit. Feng Yuxiang is motivated by sympathy and resposibility as well as the wish to reform country and society, which goes beyond the concept of philanthropic activities.
