摘要
曲线在产品设计中是一种普遍使用的设计元素符号,通过阐述曲线的数学和美学意义及其在产品设计中的运用方法,并从“工艺美术运动”到后现代设计这个历史过程,完整地阐述了不同时期曲线符号在产品设计中的运用.
In the process of product design, the curve is widely used as a symbol of design element. This paper introduces the mathematic and aesthetic meanings of the curve symbol as well as its application in the industrial design. Besides, it analyzes the application of the curve symbol in different periods from the time of ＂Art and Crafts Movement＂ to the post modem art period.
