摘要
海绵窦血栓性静脉炎临床上比较少见，多并发于颌面部感染的不当治疗。从１９６０～１９９５年间两医院共收治８例，治愈６例，死亡２例。在抗生素广泛应用的时代死亡率仍在２５％左右，故耳鼻喉科医生在治疗颌面部感染上仍不可有任何忽视。
Abstract Cavernous sinus thrombophlebitis is uncommon now.The majority of the patients de-veloped from maxillo-facial area infection with inadequate treatment.8 cases were encoun-tered between 1960 and 1995.2 patients died,even though antibiotics were used.The mor-tality was about 25%. So ENT doctors should know this complication when dealing with maxillo-facial area infection to prevent its occurrence.
