The state of rural women liberation during the ＂17-year＂ period is thoroughly viewed by the novel ＂A Story of LI Shuang-shuang＂. These women have acquired the equal position as men politically, economically and legally and walked out of homes in large numbers for the first time in history, which is the huge unprecedented change in the history of Chinese women liberation. However, such equality of ＂women being the same as men＂ has ignored the physical and psychological differences between men and women, neglecting women＇ s special problems in terms of different sex.
