Women's Liberation Movement during the Transition of Rome from Republic to Empire

在罗马从共和向帝制的转型过程中,罗马妇女发起了世界历史上第一次争取女性权利和妇女解放的运动,妇女的社会地位得到了明显的提高。但学者们对这次运动的内容和表现缺乏系统的研究,在如何评价上也存在分歧。本文基于这一时期的有关史料,对这次运动的表现、动因以及对该运动如何评价作一个概要的描述和初步的分析。

During transition of Rome from republic to empire, Roman women started the first women＇s liberation movement in the world history, demanding women＇s rights. Women＇s status improved as a result. However, scholars have not conducted systematic studies of the movement and they also have differences on how to evaluate it. This paper attempts to analyze the manifestation and the causes of the movement as well as evaluate it based on historical material.
