Discussion on the Historical and Thought Basis of Vocational Education

职业教育有一个产生和发展的历史过程。广义的职业教育与人类的生产生活密切相关，狭义的职业教育在古代社会被排斥出“正规”教育系统，一个最明显的特征就是教育与生产活动相分离。资本主义生产方式和机器工业生产技术的兴起为现代学校形态的职业教育的产生提供了条件，教育与生产劳动相结合的学说为现代职业教育提供了思想基础。

The Creation and development of vocational education have a historical process. The vocational education in broad sense has close relationship with human production and life, and vocational education in narrow sense is excluded from ＂formal＂ educational system in ancient society, and its obvious characteristics is that education is separated from production activity. The rising of Capitalism production mode and big machine industry production technology provide social and historical condition for vocational education of modem school modality, and the thought of combination of education with production labour provide thought basis for modem vocational education.
