The Role of Nuclear Factor-κB in Migraine Pathogenesis

摘要 偏头痛是引起患者失能的疼痛性疾病,发病机制复杂,有多种学说。大量研究表明,三叉神经血管学说占主导地位,其中炎性反应参与了偏头痛的发生过程。作为炎性反应中起关键作用的一种快速转录因子,核因子κB(NF—κB)在偏头痛发病机制中的作用已受到广泛关注。阻止NF—κB激活有可能成为治疗偏头痛的一种策略。 Migraine is a painful headache disorder that may cause disability. Its pathogenesis is complicated, and there are many kinds of theories about it. Numerous studies have suggested that trigeminovascular theory is in dominant position, among them the inflammation has participated in the process of migraine. Nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), as a rapid transcriptional factor which plays a key role in inflammation. Its role has received wide attention in the pathogenesis of migraine. Therefore, preventing the activation of NF-κB may become a new strategy in the treatment of migraine.
