Three Questions Concerning the Socialist Outlook on Honor and Shame

以“八荣八耻”为主要内容的社会主义荣辱观,是党的十六大以来,以胡锦涛同志为总书记的党中央提出的一系列重大战略思想的重要组成部分。自觉地树立和践行社会主义荣辱观,是全党全国人民的重大任务。本文对其中的三个问题:社会主义荣辱观提出的主要依据和重大意义、社会主义荣辱观深刻丰富的科学内涵、树立和践行社会主义荣辱观重在建立健全长效的机制,提出了自身的一些看法。

The socialist outlook on honor and shame, with the ＂eight honor and eight shame＂ as its major content, is an important component of the series of strategic thoughts proposed by the central Communist Party under the leadership of Secretary-general Hu Jintao. It is a significant task for the whole party and whole country to build up and carry out the socialist outlook on honor and shame. This thesis provided the present author＇s views on three questions concerning the outlook： the basis and significance of the socialist outlook on honor and shame, its profound and deep meanings, and the importance of establishing and perfecting a long-running system to build up and carry out the outlook.
