略论《荀子校释》的创新之处

About Fresh Ideas in The Book of Xun Zi Checked and Annotated

上海古籍出版社新近出版的王天海的《荀子校释》,是继晚清王先谦《荀子集解》之后对《荀子》校勘注释的又一集大成之作。现摘取其中颇具新意的条目进行评述,并与台湾著名学者毛子水教授的《荀子训解补正》的相关条目进行对比论述,展示学者的不同风格和学养,以期达到更科学的结论。

The Book ofXun Zi Checked and Annotated edited by Wang Tianhai and published by the Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House is another successful checked and annotated version of The Book of Xun Zi after The Book ofXun Zi Annotated by Wang Xianqian of the late Qing dynasty. This paper tries to comment on the entries with fresh ideas and make a comparison of them with related entries in The Book of Xun Zi Explained with Added Corrections by the well - known Taiwan scholar Mao Zishui to reveal the different style eruditeness of the scholar in the hope of bring about a more scientific conclusion.
