The Falseness in Yu Hua's Vanguard Novels Viewed from His Personal Experiences

余华的先锋小说,通过对暴力与死亡的展示,表现世事的险恶和人性的阴暗与冷酷,以及历史的无常和人对自身命运的无能为力。暴力、血腥、残忍、冷酷构成其作品的主要内容和主要情趣。但通过对余华真实观、人生经历、教育背景的考察,我们可以发现,他所表现的“恶”是一种建立在虚无主义真实观之上的,缺少事实依据的“假恶”,其先锋小说具有明显的虚假性。

The vanguard novels by Yu Hua, through an exhibition of violence and deaths, tell the reader about the inclemency in worldly affairs and the dark and cruel side of human nature, the uncertainty of history and the helplessness of man with his fate. Violence, bloodiness, cruelty, relentlessness constitute the main content and interest of his works. But by examining Yu Hua＇ s real ideas, his personal experiences, his background of education, we can find that the evils he exposed are based on a real idea of nihilism, and are therefore false evils because of the lack of a foundation. There exists falseness in his vanguard novels.
