论1949—1955年民主德国争取德国统一的努力

Former GDR for Unification:1949—1955

建国初,立足于国内外形势,民主德国将完成德国统一确立为主要任务,并采取了争取两德谈判为主、发动群众运动为辅的策略。然而,民主德国争取德国和平统一政策最终失败,其主要原因是以美苏对峙的国际局势的走向是全面冷战而不是达成和解,同时也与两德政府的对立以及民主德国自身的政策失误有关。

In the beginning of the country＇s founding, the GDR set the unification of Germany as the main task on the basis of the domestic and foreign surroundings, and worked great efforts to hold talks between the two Germanies and mobilized the mass movement,too. However, The GDR failed to unify Germany from negotiations in the end because it was difficult to reach an understanding when the international situation developed to the overall Cold war, at the same time,it also were obstacles that the two German governments＇ confrontation and the GDR＇s fault in its unification policy.
