Singular and Plural of Gaoping Dialect

“数”是一个与人类生活息息相关的基本范畴,但是,并不是所有的语言或者方言都形成了“数”的语法范畴,因此“数”的语法范畴可以作为考察某一种语言或者方言语法特点的一个重要参数。本文以“数”的语法范畴为着眼点,以普通话和隆回高坪话的比较为线索,详细地描写了隆回高坪话单复数用法的语法特点,以期给湘语的分区与确认提供语法上的参考。

In the field of dialectial reseach, scholars traditionally spent their strength on phonetics, in contrast , they paid litfie attention to vocabulary and grammar. The singular number and plural number of Gaoping dialect are described, basing on the comparison of standard Chinese and Gaoping dialect.
