In Leonardo da Vinci＇s opinion, imagination was a form of expression of art and a manner of existence. In the artistic practice, people should realize the meaning of imagination and make full use of possible circumstance, condition and method to stimulate the imagination for human beings and art. The Leonardo da Vinci＇s theory of imagination occupied a unique place in the history of theory of imagination and exerted a significant influence to scholars of later ages.
