An Analysis on Explaining the Phenomena of Characters by Analogy in Guangya Shuzheng

《广雅疏证》运用类比手法说明的文字现象,包括通假字和通用字的有关规律、某些异体字字形结构的特点、有些形声字与其声旁读音不一致的某些规律、某些连绵词字异而义同的情况,以及某些讹字规律。

There were several phenomena of characters explained by the means of analogy in Guangya Shuzheng, including some rules of characters used for an interchangeable one or to represent a homophone, the peculiarity of character pattern of some characters with variant forms, the rules on the situation that some characters with one element indicating meaning and the other sound were not pronounced in the same sound with the element indicating meaning, some binding words had different characters but same meaning, and some rules of wrong words.
