评胡适与南社的白话诗词之争

A Review of the Dispute of Vernacular Poems between Hu Shi and Nan She

新文化运动前后,白话诗的主要倡导者胡适与部分南社成员之间产生了激烈的论战。冲突的症结主要在于胡适起初对一些概念未能准确地予以界定,其理论和实践也存在一些矛盾和误区。而且由于双方没有始终保持必要的理性,因而在一定程度上陷入了意气之争。此外,胡适的文学革命实际上仍然有“诗界革命”的遗风,而与“文艺复兴”貌合神离。

Around the time of the New Cultural Campaign, there was a tense dispute between Hu Shi, the major advocator, and some members of Nanshe Society. The sticking point of the dispute is that Hu Shi was not able to define some of the concepts and there were some contradiction between theory and practice.
