Structural features and pragmatic value of comparative constructions in the dialect of Xianning

差比句是用来比较事物异同的句式,咸宁方言的差比句形式多,比较标记运用丰富。对比古代汉语和现代汉语,咸宁方言的差比句有顺序结构与逆序结构并存的特点,而且不同差比句式的使用条件和语用价值也不尽相同。

Comparative constructions are used for comparison. The dialect of Xianning has many structures and markers of comparison. In contrast with classical Chinese and modern Chinese,the comparative structures found in the dialect of Xianning follow two word orders：the ordinal structure and reverse structure,each with different pragmatic conditions and values.
