摘要
着重介绍了以雅戈布斯(Jacobs)为代表的西方学者如何将环境教育和外语教育相融合教学实践,文章指出环境教育作为环球教育的重要内容不但可提高学生的语言水平,还可以提升他们的环境意识。而外语教学情境下的环境教育,呼唤具备跨学科知识的教师,生动有趣的教材和难度适宜的课程。学生需要将书本知识和生活实践相结合。
This paper mainly introduces the teaching practice advocated by western scholars represented by Jacobs, which integrates environment education with TEFL. It is pointed out that as an important component of global education, environment education in TEFL context will improve the students' L2 proficiency as well as their environment awareness. A successful environment education in TEFL context calls for competent teachers with interdisciplinary knowledge, interesting teaching materials and well-tailored courses. Above all, what is learnt from the class should be put into practice and extended to learners' everyday life.
