解析无锡传统街区垂直界面的图底关系

Analysis on the figure-ground relation of vertical interface of traditional block in Wuxi

以图底关系为认知基础,对街区界面图底关系的要素进行了阐述,分析了无锡市传统街区垂直界面的特点与成因,论述了图底关系的当代意义,并试图将这种方法运用在现代城市与建筑设计中,从而真正发挥图底关系的研究和实用价值。

Based upon theory of figure-ground relation elements of figure-ground relation of vertical block interface are elaborated. Taking traditional block in Wuxi as example, features and origin of its figure-ground relation are analyzed. Contemporary meaning of figure-ground relation is discussed; at the same time attempt is made to utilize this method in modem urban and architectural design to promote research of figure-ground relation.
