Make Great Efforts to Increase the Independent Innovation Ability and Speeding up the Development of the Equipment Manufacturing

This paper briefly expounds the important position of the equipment manufacturing in the development of Chinese industry and national economy, and based on the main differences between our country＇s equipment manufacturing and the foreign one, points out that the key for lifting the core competitive power of the equipment manufacturing is to improve the independent innovation ability, to strengthen the nation＇s leading capacity on industrial development and technical progress and economic independence, and to prevent that the trans-national companies merger our country＇ s leading enterprises of the equipment manufacturing.
