摘要
语言文献记录是语言学中正在形成的一个新领域。随着对濒危语言现象的重视和记录濒危语言资料工作的开展,世界各地很多语言学家都在进行语言文献记录的实践,这些实践经验和在此基础上不断总结形成的理论原则和方法论,与通常的语言调查和资料记录存在很大的差别。本文从调查记录的目的、对象、内容、要求和方法等方面,系统论述了濒危语言文献记录的特点,并阐述了文献记录理论和方法所具有的现实意义和学术价值。
Linguistic documentation is a new and developing area in linguistics.Increasing recognition of language endangerment issues has led to the initiation of documentation work among such languages,with numerous linguists from all over the world being involved.The practical experience gained from this work as well as the resultied theoretical principles and methodology that are continually being developed reveal significant differences when compared to ordinary linguistic investigation and data recording.In this paper,several aspects are discussed,including the objects,content,aims,requirements,and methods of investigation and documentation.The special features of the documentation of endangered languages are explored,together with a detailed explication of the practical significance and academic value of the theory and method of linguistic documentation.
