江苏省城镇居民消费支出分析

Analysis of Urban Consumption in Jiangsu Province

运用扩展线性支出系统对2005年江苏省城镇居民消费结构进行分析,分析结果表明:交通通讯、食品和教育文化娱乐服务的边际消费倾向较高,江苏省居民较愿意在这3类商品或服务上增加支出;同时,8类商品及服务的收入弹性均为正值,说明随收入水平的提高,这些商品的需求量也随之增加,其中交通通讯、杂货项商品和家庭用品需求增长率大于收入增长率。

By applying Extended Linear Expenditure System, the authors studied urban consumption in 2005 in Jiangsu Province. They indicate in the paper that the residents＇ marginal propensity of consumer spending on transportation and communications, food, educational and cultural entertainment service is comparatively higher,with relatively stronger consumption demand in those commodities or services; at the same time, the revenue range of 8 kinds of commodities and service is positive margin, which shows that the consumption demand is to increase with the raise of the people＇s income, while the demand for transportation and communication, groceries and the housewares will grow especially higher.
