内容分发(Content Delivery Network,CDN)网络技术是在流量管理、负载均衡和分布式技术基础上发展的一种分发缓存技术。这种技术采用将缓存服务器放置于Internet的边缘节点处,通过负载均衡等算法实现资源的就近分配和就近访问原则,能实现对多媒体信息快速响应的目的。介绍了内容传送网络技术的原理及其核心技术,并对其在流媒体领域中的应用进行了分析。

Content Delivery Network technology is a kind of distribution Cache technology based on traffic management,load balance and distribution - style technology. The goal of rapid response of multimedia technology can be attained by putting Cache server on edge notes of Intemet and by using calculation metods such as load balance and so on to realize the principle that resources are allocated near by and are visited near by. This paper introduces the principle and key technoloies of Contrent Delivery Network and studies its application in streaming media.
