This paper introduces the implementation of the design of GPRS terminal in a kind of ARM9 embedded system. Adopting ARM9 chip S3e2410a, transplanting LINUX operation system, and controlling GPRS MODEM to implement the wireless insertion, this system possesses the advantages of lower power consumption, better reliability and higher ratio of performance/cost, and excellent expandability and developing continuity.
