On Sep. 6, 2006, Prof. Zhu Zuoyan, Vice President of NSFC met with a delegation from the New Zealand Ministry of Research, Science and Technology （MORST） headed by Ms. Helen Anderson, Chief Executive of MORST. The delegation was visiting China at the invitation of the Ministry of Science and Technology to attend the first China-New Zealand Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation.
