Puerarin can be used in the quality evaluation of Radix Puerarine Lobatae. The latest civil progress in advancement in separation and purification of Puerarin in Radix Puerarine Lobatae is reviewed. At the same time, separation and purification of puerarin using β-cyclodextrin-coupled agarose gel media is becoming the key development and direction for its advantage with green environment protection and low cost.
