试析影响美国对台决策的若干基本因素

Analysis of Several Fundamental Elements Affecting U.S. Policy-decision toward Taiwan

通过对历史的回顾与研究,认为美国在对台决策时主要考虑以下三个基本因素:第一,安全战略方面的需要;第二,维护美国的道义声望;第三,维护美国在台湾的经济文化利益。不同时期考虑的重点不同,对单个基本因素的重视程度也各异。冷战结束以来,随着中国的迅速崛起,美国对台决策的考虑因素出现了复杂化趋势,这必将导致台湾问题产生出新的复杂性。

By reviewing and studying correlative history, the author deduces in this paper that there have been three fundamental elements affecting U.S. Policy-decision toward Taiwan since this issue came into being. The three elements are the need of security strategy, the image of U.S. morality ＆ prestige, and its economic ＆ cultural interests in Taiwan, respectively. The emphases and extents of emphasizing have been differing at different times. Since the end of Cold War, China has been on a fast trip of rising and the elements affecting U.S. policy-decision toward Taiwan have taken on a trend of complicating, which will necessarily result in new complexity for Taiwan Question.
