The World Foundry Organization （WFO） convenes the members of the executive committee in United Kingdom on February 11, 2003 to decide the host country of the 69th World Foundry Congress in 2010. Professor SUN Guo-xiong from Southeastern University of China attended the meeting. At the meeting, by vote among the three applicant countries - China, Russia, Mexico, China become the sponsor of the 69th World Foundry Congress and technical forum in 2010.
