摘要
介绍了一种基于高品质周期畴极化反转掺镁铌酸锂晶体的高效可调谐中红外固体激光器——光参量振荡器的研制情况。该晶体长40mm、厚1mm,采用高压电脉冲触发技术制作,其中氧化镁掺杂浓度为6mol%。光参量振荡器采用双向单共振结构,泵浦源为工作波长在1.064μm、线偏振的声光调Q掺钕钒酸钇激光器。当输入泵浦功率为10.6W时,光参量振荡器输出功率为4.8W,信号光的调谐范围为1.4~1.8μm,闲散光的调谐范围为2.7~4.4μm,光光转换效率大于44%。由于该类激光器的极高转换效率和方便灵活的调谐能力,非常适合于作为中红外波段的激光光源,用于各类光电对抗、激光探空雷达、大气激光雷达等系统。
An highly efficient, periodically poled 6 mol% MgO doped LiNbO3 (PPMgLN)-based optical parametric oscillators (OPO) working in the mid-infrared region is reported. The OPO utilizes a double pass single resonant optical parametric (DSRO) structure. The PPMgLN crystal is fabricated by means of high voltage pulse trigged domain reversal technique and used as the nonlinear conversion component. The OPO thus developed has a wide spectral tuning range of 1.4- 1.8 μm (for the signal) and 2.7- 4.4 μm (for the idler) while the pump wavelength is at 1.064 μm. A maximum output power of 4.8 W is achieved at a pumping power of 10.6 W with a conversion efficiency of 44%.
