论田秋与明代贵州文化教育的发展

On Relations between Tianqiu and Development of the Culture and Education of Guizhou in Ming Dynasty

在贵州开发史上,田秋是一位值得认真研究和大力宣传的人物。作为西南民族地区士绅阶层的政治精英,田秋不仅以学识渊博、刚直敢言而卓声当朝,而且还以身居庙堂,不鄙南荒,勇于推动贵州社会文化的发展而名重黔中。本文就田秋对贵州文化教育发展的作为和贡献略作论述,以期唤起后人对历史经验的关注。

In the development history of Guizhou, Tianqiu has been a man who deserves careful study and energetic propaganda. As a cream of the esquire stratum in the southwestern minority nationality regions, Tianqiu was not only prominent for his erudition and outspokenness in Ming dynasty, but was famous for, in spite of being in the court, not despising the southwestern minority nationality regions, and being brave in forwarding the development of Guizhou＇s society and culture. In this paper, we briefly discuss Tianqiu＇s action on and contribution to the development of the culture and education of Guizhou in order to awaken posterity to the historical experience.
