The paper introduces the technical characteristics of three- roll Y- model continuous rolling mill for rolling large molybdenum wire coil, which is developed by Luoyang Engineering and Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals Processing. Both of the process and the equipment of the tandem mill has surpassed advanced world level. The starting - up of this tandem mill marked that the process technology of molybdenum, tungsten and titanium has entered a new development period.
