Dimethyl Carbonate Project Merits Attention for Fermentation Industry

简介了我国碳酸二甲酯的产业现状,现有总产能10万t/a,2006年的产量约8万t。通过对2006年我国丙二醇(15万t)和乙二醇(530万t)市场容量的分析,提出了用环氧乙烷代替环氧丙烷生产碳酸二甲酯的工艺路线,联产的乙二醇可以满足国内的部分需求。最后综述了碳酸二甲酯在各领域的广泛应用。

The situation of dimethyl carbonate industry in China was introduced in brief, the total capacity was 100 thousand tons per year at present, the output was about 80 thousand tons in 2006. Through the analysis of China＇ s market capacity of propylene oxide （ 150 thousand tons） and ethylene glycol （5.3 million tons） in 2006, a technique route for producing dimethyl carbonate using ethylene oxide instead of propylene oxide was put forward, the co-product ethylene glycol could meet the domestic market demand partially. Finally, the applications of dimethyl carbonate in different fields were narrated.
