American AT＆T and BellSouth reached to an agreement that AT＆T purchases BellSouth on March 5, 2006, and this is of great importance to world teleeom market and Chinese teleeom market. As Chinese teleeom market is very large, it becomes the focus on which the global teleeom giants compete. After entry of WTO, Chinese teleeom enterprises will be confronted with severe competition from foreign teleeom enterprises.
