The Long Tail Theory in Library

在数字化内容日益丰富的环境中,图书馆面临着用户注意力分流问题。从分析成功的互联网公司呈现的长尾现象入手,阐述了长尾形成的三个基本原则。在总结图书馆界对长尾理论认知的基础上,应用长尾理论对图书馆当前在资源整合和服务方面存在的问题进行分析,探讨导致用户流失的原因,为网络环境下图书馆服务的重构提供参考。

In a more and more abundant of digital content environment, one big problem that the library faced is that their users have shorten attention on them, Based on the analyzing of the Long Tail phenomenon in some successful Internet companies, this paper expatiates three key principles of the Long Tail theory and summaries the views of libraries on the Long Tail theory, Then, it analyzes the problems of library in resources aggregation and services according to the Long Tail theory. At last, it discusses the reasons of user shorten attention, so as to provide some references for libraries to construct new services in network age,
