Thoughts on the Books Purchase through Public Bidding

认为图书质量低下和价格体系的紊乱是造成图书高折扣的根源,提出应建立图书招标监督和检查制度;图书招标应该把图书文献的质量放到首位。指出图书采访应以建构图书馆的科学藏书体系为目标,充分考虑文献的多源性,需求的多样性,稀缺的差异性。

This paper considers that the high discount would lead to the worse quality of books and the disorder of the price system, Therefore, a system of the supervision and examination need be worked out for public book bidding in libraries. During the book bidding, the quality of books should be put in the first place, whose aim is to meet the requirement of a scientific construction for library collections.
