2月14日，建设部通报了2006年全国廉租房建设情况：目前仍有145个城市尚未建立廉租房制度，占全国城市总数的22．1％；在已建立廉租房制度城市中，绝大多数没有将土地出让净收益实际用于廉租住房制度建设；部分城市没有建立廉租住房保障对象档案，申请、审批、退出机制不完善。
On February 14, the Ministry of Construction announced the construction of low rent houses around China last year. As a basic housing security system, the low rent houses policy has been advocated by the central government for three years. But the result wasn’t satisfactory. Money, land and the assorted systems are the key points of the problem. The Ministry of Construction announced that the low rent house system will be established around China this year. Therefore, a tough game between the central government and local governments is doomed.
