The environmental geological condition of the surface collapse area in Huqiu Comer of An＇xi County, Jiandou Town, Fujian Province has been systematically introduced in this paper, also the distributing rule of surface collapse has been investigated and analyzed in detailed, and its genetic mechanism has been summed up. The study shows that the dissoluble limestone and upper deep talus clay blanket are the geological conditions of surface collapse; and the exploration of deeper and surrounding limestone and dredge of groundwater by mine well enhanced the formation of karst cave and soil cave ; rainfall intenerates the upper soil and causes its weight increment, and then reduces the c ＆ φ of soil, as a result, surface collapse has been accelerates.
