Legal anthropology is a new subject that crosses the law and anthropology, which provides a series of perspective and methods for the study of the law. Making the law a cultural phenomenon is the basic view of legal anthropology as well as the case-method. Fieldwork and cross-cultural comparison is the basic method and means. Based on the relevant expositions of western anthropologists, a brief introduction about the research technique of legal anthropology is given.
